This Caribbean grass display sponge is a genuine natural sea sponge measuring approximately 12 inches or more. Its broad, irregular form creates a striking coastal centerpiece for shelves, mantels, bathrooms, retail displays, and shell-and-sponge collections.

This is a dried natural sponge intended for decoration. It is not sold as a living aquarium organism and should be displayed in a dry arrangement rather than placed in a stocked aquarium or continuously wet environment.

Displaying and Caring for a Grass Sponge

Place the sponge on a stable surface that supports its natural base without forcing it flat. Display it alone or combine it with shells, driftwood, sea glass, or smaller sponge forms. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it.

Remove dust with a soft brush or low, cool airflow. If the sponge becomes damp, place it where air can circulate and let it dry completely before returning it to storage or display. Avoid crushing, sharply folding, or pulling the dry natural fiber.
