Textured plant fiber with reinforced edges

The mitt shape slips over the hand for controlled body washing in the bath or shower. Linen stitching reinforces the edges, while the jute string provides a simple hanging point. This Peruvian version is a different construction from our premium loofah mitt with terry-cloth backing.

How to soften and use the mitt

1. Soak the mitt thoroughly in warm water until the plant fiber softens.
2. Add soap or body wash and work up a lather.
3. Cleanse the body using light pressure and adjust it to your comfort.
4. Rinse the mitt well after use.

Avoid using textured loofah on broken, sunburned or irritated skin. Stop if use feels uncomfortable.

Hang and allow it to dry

Gently press out excess water, then hang the mitt by its jute string where air can circulate around both sides. Let it dry completely between uses and do not share personal bath mitts. Replace it when the fiber, stitching or string becomes worn, it remains damp, or an odor persists after cleaning.
