These premium auto marine equine tack sponges are natural Rock Island wool cleaning sponges offered in multiple sizes for cars, boats, horses, ponies, saddles and tack. Choose a smaller sponge for detailed work or applying a compatible leather-care product, or a larger size for washing broader surfaces.

Rock Island wool sponges have a dense natural structure and a rounded, irregular shape. Each sponge varies slightly in color, pore pattern, dimensions and texture.

Use and Care

Rinse before first use. Wet the sponge fully, add a cleaner appropriate for the surface and begin with light pressure. Follow the cleaner or leather-care manufacturer’s directions and test on an inconspicuous area first. Rinse thoroughly after use, gently squeeze without twisting and allow the sponge to air-dry completely.

Do not store the sponge wet in a sealed container. Replace it if it develops persistent odor, begins to break apart or can no longer be rinsed clean.
