This rectangle ladder beech wood soap dish uses an open slatted top to support a bar of soap while leaving space beneath it. The ladder-style rails give excess water a route to drain away and allow air to move around more of the bar between uses.

Its compact rectangular shape fits easily beside a bathroom or kitchen sink and works with many standard bar-soap shapes.

Using the Ladder Soap Dish

Set the dish on a stable surface where water passing through the slats can drain away. Place one bar across the raised rails and avoid allowing water to pool around or underneath the wood. Give the bar and the dish time to dry between uses.

Cleaning and Wood Care

Remove accumulated soap residue from the slats with a damp cloth or a quick rinse, then wipe the dish dry. Do not leave beech wood soaking in a sink, shower or container of water. Allow all surfaces to air-dry completely, and move the dish periodically so moisture does not remain trapped underneath. Discontinue use if the wood cracks, splinters or develops a rough surface.
