Not sure which natural loofah variety you prefer? This loofah sampler includes one piece each of four regional varieties so you can compare their shape, fiber pattern and feel after soaking.

What is included in the Loofah Sampler?

• Common Asian Loofah, sourced from farms in Asia, including China, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.
• Egyptian Loofah, sourced from farms in Egypt.
• Mayan Loofah, sourced from a small family farm in Guatemala.
• Peruvian Loofah, sourced from Peru.

Because loofahs are natural plant products, diameter, color, fiber density and exact measurements vary. These normal differences are part of what makes the sampler useful: you can handle and compare real examples instead of choosing from a description alone.

Choose your sampler size

5–6-inch bath-size sampler: includes approximately 6-inch Common and Egyptian pieces, a 5-inch Mayan piece and a 6–7-inch Peruvian piece. This option provides convenient cuts for bathing or testing other suitable uses.

10–12-inch large sampler: includes approximately 12-inch Common and Egyptian pieces, a 10-inch Mayan piece and a full-length Peruvian loofah measuring approximately 12–14 inches. Choose this option if you want larger pieces to compare or cut to your preferred length.

How to compare your four loofahs

Soak each piece in warm water until it opens and softens. Compare how each feels in your hand, how flexible the fibers become and how well it holds soap or body wash. Use gentle pressure when trying a loofah on the body; preference varies from person to person.

After each use, rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water and allow the loofah to dry completely in a well-ventilated place. Do not share body-use pieces. Keep anything used for household cleaning separate, and replace a piece if it develops a persistent odor, discoloration or starts breaking down.
